The Activate Fellowship welcomes the participation of foreign nationals as long as they are authorized to work in the U.S. for the duration of the two-year fellowship. Applications for Cohort 2025 open on September 4th. Foreign national applicants must obtain a visa by June 1, 2025 in order to participate as an Activate Fellow in Cohort 2025.

We understand that this can be a challenge, and that there are different types of visas and ways to obtain one as part of this process. This panel discussion with current and alumni Activate Fellows will provide information regarding different pathways to obtaining a visa and highlight each fellow’s journey to obtaining a visa in order to participate in the Activate Fellowship.

The aim of the panel is to:

• Support foreign national applicants through the application and selection process

• Present various pathways of obtaining a visa in order to participate as an Activate Fellow

• Hear from current and alumni Activate Fellows who have been through the experience of obtaining a visa

• Get general fellowship questions answered during a brief Q&A
