The Activate New York Community supports climate-tech leaders to help meet the state's emissions reduction goals & achieve carbon neutrality by 2050. Located in Manhattan, Activate New York is at the heart of an accelerating climate-tech ecosystem, including access to our Columbia University partner laboratories and other top-tier facilities, and a culture of supporting applied science through NYSERDA.

Additionally, Activate’s Carbon Management Imperative will identify, fund, and support Activate Fellows whose innovations show strong potential to remove, capture, convert, or store CO2 at volumes, timescales, and efficiencies adequate to meet aggressive climate goals.
