The Activate New York Community supports climate-tech leaders to help meet the state's emissions reduction goals & achieve carbon neutrality by 2050. Located in Manhattan, Activate New York is at the heart of an accelerating climate-tech ecosystem, including access to our Columbia University partner laboratories and other top-tier facilities, and a culture of supporting applied science through NYSERDA.

Columbia University is a vital partner to Activate New York, hosting fellows in research labs through the Columbia Startup Fellows (CSF) Program, and providing a base for Activate New York. Last year’s Activate cohort included three recent PhD candidates from Columbia, and some of the Activate fellows are now leveraging Columbia lab facilities through their fellowship.

To continue building on this fruitful partnership, we have organized this in-person meet & greet to help share this opportunity with Columbia affiliates and recruit applicants for the current cycle, which is now open through October 31!
