Dr. Alex Dehganis the CEO and co-founder of Conservation X Labs, where he leads a team of 40+ people, across four continents, who are passionate about using innovation and technology to prevent the Sixth Mass Extinction. Dehgan brings over 30 years of experience in conservation, development, and foreign affairs, as a serial innovator, entrepreneur, scientist, and diplomat. He has worked and lived in 90 countries on six continents as the Chief Scientist of USAID, a U.S. Department of State diplomat, professor of sustainability and global futures at Arizona State University, and author of The Snow Leopard Project, a book that tells the story of building Afghanistan's first national park. Deghan holds a Ph.D. in evolutionary biology from the University of Chicago, a J.D. from University of California, San Francisco, and is a member of the California Bar.
